Alte Post in Laufenburg

Nice little restaurant at a beautiful location along the Rhine. Food was good for the price and portions too. This was the second time I went here with my wife and daughter. Unfortunately both times it was the service staff which makes me score two stars. They are not friendly, polite at best. Last weekend there was a large group from the local carnival group spilling from the pub into the restaurant with the accompanying noise and disturbance. Either the staff new in advance and should have told us when we reserved or they should have ensured the group did not block the entrance, door opening and wander among the tables. Very disappointing.

Food is good. Portions are ample. Staff appears a bit distant but does everything as requested in timely manner.
